Cocktails, Couches, Cans, Carpet. Or, Danny Cans.

Friends, as you can see, I have a lot of liquor left to consume. Please stop by on Friday, 8pm, for an open house style cocktails and beers situation. I'd encourage you to bring some beers. Ice will probably also be handy.

Guests are encouraged to come with recipes that will consume cremes de cassis or mint, chartreuse, and grenadine.

I'll also be giving away my cocktail fridge, seen here:

Very handy if you like to have a place next to your bed to store beers. First person to arrive and express interest can have it - $0, but you gotta haul it out.

And I'll be giving away a child's desk which has served as my bar.

Priced to move at $0.

This won't have quite the simplicity of a classic Tarps and Kegs, as the couches will be enjoying one last night of glory. But don't expect to sit down unless you come early and fight hard.

Looking forward to seeing you!

Update on the couches!

Attention! All couches have now been claimed, and I must say I'm pleased with the placement. I think everyone receiving a couch will enjoy it.

Watch this space for any surprises!

Couches!

Reminder: all couches are free, but you've got to get them out of here! I'm happy to help get them as far as your truck or station wagon.

First come, first serve!

Couch #3: Super Couch

Supercouch is really great. It has a pullout bed. I got it from my friends who are real fancy and stylish. It has a very high firmness rating. You will love this couch, and I would like to get you on it.

One catch, however. Supercouch is INCREDIBLY heavy. It took two weak men, one strong man, an engineering genius, and a truck to get it into my home. Some similar compliment will be necessary to get it out. But the reward? The couch of a lifetime.

Note: the Mexican chicken puppet in the photograph is included for scale only, and does not come with the couch.

Couch #2: The Long Couch

Here is a nice long couch, on which my many guests have enjoyed comfortable nights of sleep, from which I have watched many television shows. It is a sectional - you can rearrange it as you like.

Don't let me fool you - it's a little saggy from all the sitting that's happened on it, but it is a real nice "starter couch" for a young couple.

Free Couches

Hello, I am giving away three couches of varying quality. They are all totally free, but you have to come pick them up. First person to tell me when they're coming can have 'em!

Here is the first couch:
KITCHEN COUCH

It is very light, more of a loveseat really. Could go great on a deck or a porch. I use it in my kitchen where it has provided much fine sitting for people watching me cook.
